Minuteman restaurant is attatched to the side of
Tonito hotel, serving breakfast and dinner 7 days a week to guests or non-guests.
Breakfast is available from 7:30 til 10 with many homemade options, and dinner comprising
of the best pizza or pasta you will have tried in a long time is served between 5 and 10.
You would have to have a very good excuse to come through Uyuni and not stop at this place
for at least one meal. The next few pictures show the restaurant in full swing.
Group reservations are accepted via email.

Backpacks!
This Christmas was a hit
again! Thanks to donations we were able to buy 48 backpacks and blankets for the entire
orphanage
Silivio happy to get his new supplies.
The children wanted to send this group photo to all
in appreciation of your generosity! Gracias!
A thank you note from all.
Thanks to Christine Peters, Ursula Pilz (repeat donator), Tucan and
Dragoman groups who left donations and Cathy Swanson and Maggie Woods for school supplies
to stuff the backpacks!
Last year we have started a joint project with Tucan Tour Company as
well as Dragoman tours to help the children here in the Orphanage of Uyuni.
This will now be an annual event with a Christmas visit from Santa and
Donations to help the orphanage.
A joyous
moment for all!
Both the Children as well as the adults were deeply touched.
All Aboard!
The Kids take a spin around the block with Scott...honking the horns and
having a blast!
With the money donated by a number of the visitors we started to improve
the environment of the orphanage.
Replacing the old and broken windows
Even the
